Santa Monica Grand Tasting: A Showcase of Culinary Craft

One of the most difficult things about dining out is deciding where to go. While Los Angeles has many delectable destinations, Santa Monica has always been one of Edible Skinny’s Go-To’s for foodie fun. With its stunning landscape and diverse eateries this Westside town offers endless edible options that never skimp on flavor. But how do we choose? Thankfully with this weekend’s Santa Monica Grand Tasting, we don’t have to. In fact, this amazing event brings some of the most talented Westside chef’s to one-stop dining destination with a breathtaking backdrop.
Santa Monica Grand Tasting, happening this Saturday and Sunday on the Santa Monica pier, will offer the ultimate pairing menu, featuring numerous well-known chefs and renowned restaurants. Guests will sample an endless array of plates that encompass the eclectic tastes of Los Angeles, as well as showcase the ideology of each eatery. Featured chef Susan Feniger, of the Border Grill, heads the event, which supports the Chill Foundation. This walk around culinary expo with beverage pairings features over 100 of LA’s top chefs participating in the kitchen, presented by the Santa Monica Wholefoods Market. Participating chef include: David Hands of Bouchon, Adam Steudle of Hotel Erwin, Phillip Frankland Lee of Scratch Bar and many more. Other participating brands include Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Kerry Gold Cheese & Butter, Choctal, GG's Toffee, Cutco, Fresh Brothers, Nature's Bakery, Gourmet Blends, and many more.
