For those of you who perhaps didn't see it on Facebook an awesome farmer in the Netherlands came up with a stellar way to keep his little piggies cool: he built them a water slide!!!
Pigs need to wallow and roll around in the mud in order to keep their core temperature cool. They don’t have any sweat glands, so without a cool mud bath they overheat. They also need mental stimulation as they are one of the most intelligent animals on the planet.
So with these two things in mind Farmer Erik Stegink decided to take an older well used slide he had bought from a nearby pool on his farmland and created absolute awesomeness.
